This is such a wonderful idea. Thank you for sharing the idea and the example. There was such gentleness and kindness in the letter you wrote to yourself. Beautiful!
Sandra- My favorite part is allowing oneself words like this: “Instead of getting up early to check on this or that, you sleep in and get the rest you need.”
Your post, that video, your letter! I loved it all so much. I’m obsessed with Elizabeth Gilbert too, but had no idea about her substack. Thank you for sharing
What an amazing idea! I am going to try this. Would be so interested to hear your experience with the nervous system protocol. I’ve been working a lot on healing my nervous system. I’m definitely noticing progress but it’s still really slow and am always looking for new tools and techniques to try. Thrilled to hear your health is improving! That’s amazing news!
Suzanne, I love this idea, too! I'm glad it resonates with you. I won't start the Safe and Sound Protocol until early December, but I'll be sure to let you know if it's effective for me.
What a beautiful letter you wrote to yourself, Sandra! This is worth trying! Since I am no longer at the studio and am mostly in my house with Hubby, I think my self-worth has taken a hit, especially since the vertigo has taken away my ability to walk normally! I will give this a try! Thank you so much, Sandra! <3
Jean, Moving out of the studio was a big transition. I'm sorry your self-esteem has taken a hit in the process. I hope this process helps. Sending love and a hug!
We are all works in progress and our emotions are valid. The awareness we get after all the inner work stays with us to steer us in the right direction, I believe. Thanks for this beautiful post. I also love Elizabeth Gilbert.

Cathy, I'm glad the idea resonates with you. Our conversations with ourselves are so important!
I could not agree more! ☺️

Thalia, Thanks! I think that's a big win, too! Thanks for taking a moment to touch base. All the best to you.

Cait, That makes me so happy! Enjoy all the inspiration and encouragement you receive from Gilbert's Letters from Love Substack.
